The next great installment of the Assassin's Creed series!

Assassin's Creed 3 is a brilliantly constructed game. In the game, you play as Connor, the first Native American to join the Assassin Order. Throughout the game, you complete tasks to stop the Templar incursion in the American Colonies. The game runs on the newest Ubisoft engine for the series the AnvilNext engine, and is graphically impressive. Both the objectives on land and the new naval combat system are quite fun, and intuitive. The new combat system works much better than the previous versions, and combat is smooth and enjoyable. While the game is great, there are a few technical hiccups that keep the game from being a perfect experience. While not by any means frequently, the game does experience hard-crashes that require the player to reboot the game to continue, and the occasional graphical pop in and frame-rate drop. Let me point out, that during my entire playthrough, I only experienced one hard-crash, and two pop-ins. The day one patch Ubisoft released fixed all of these errors, and since installing it, I have had no further problems!
In conclusion; Assassin's Creed 3 is a great experience with an awesome story, and is enjoyable both for fans of the series and newcomers alike. The Wii U version is a must buy for any Wii U owner with the great ability to be played solely on the Gamepad.

Great value for the money, great time to buy!

This is my first time playing any of the Assassin's Creed games, and I have only just begun, so keep that in mind for this brief review. I am impressed by the fluidity of gameplay and the storyline thus far, however, many of the cinematics are a bit choppy. This may be a minor flaw in the Wii U version only, or could simply be a result of the high quality graphics.

So far, I am thoroughly enjoying this game, and I look forward not only to finishing this title, but the next installment being released.Read full review...

Beautiful scenery

Great game but can get a little boring after a while. Nice graphics especially for a 8 year old game. I don't see why people are so partial to the Wii U's graphics since the games look great on it
