Depth, Clarity, Soundstage!

Solidly built, unbelievable headroom with lots of air on the top; mids and bottom end have texture and depth. Listen to mostly jazz and classical and my Q acoustics concept 40 towers never sounded better! I also bought the Audiolab 6000cdt and it's a joyous, uneatable combination! Audiolab's 6000A internal DAC is an absolute plus providing excellent sound quality for digital sources! Coming from the Iota SA3 which is still a fantastic amp for the money and a Cambridge audio CXA61 before buying this Audiolab. The Cambridge CXA61 has beautiful soundstage but it's a bit too lively on top; It also does not come with phono preamp. The Iota and the Audiolab are more neutral than the Cambridge, and the Audiolab, particularly, provides more texture to the music (piano notes, cellos and strings bowing or plucking, harmonics, etc) and even more detail. Very Highly recommended!Read full review...
