Not 100% copper but still sounds good.
The red and black insulation make it very easy to hook up especiially long lengths. Sounds bery good for less than 100% copper.

Wire conductors are undersize
The wire is conductors are significantly undersized. Measuring the entire length gave a resistance of 3.2 ohms which is about twice what true 18 AWG wire should measure. It should work for most low current applications, but I would not recommend it for long runs or the rated current for 18 gauge stranded wire (4.9A) and limit its use to its more correct 22 AWG 2.1 A.Read full review...

This wire is FOR SPEAKERS only. Many pure copper speaker wire will carry 10 to 30 amps at 12 volts. This wire will get hot.
like it said, for SPEAKERS ONLY. DON"T use it for 12v high current unless you want a fire. I'll use the roll of wire I purchased for speakers that need a wire.
