Audiovox 9 inch portable DVD players.

The first thing to catch your attention is the size of the monitors, which are 9 inch, compared to the regular 7 inch. The fact that you get two individual players which can be used at the same time is great! One can see the same movie, or watch different movies at the same time. The one flaw, which could be only in my case, is that the player behind driver (when playing same movie), tends to lose picture brightness every now and then. It is corrected by unplugging connector and reconnecting, but it could be due to it moving while traveling. Besides this, the sound is great, the picture is clear, and the movies don't skip or jump. Kids love it and makes the long trips quiet and peaceful!Read full review...

Happy with my Audiovox PVS72901

One of the reviews has mentioned that the screens did not work. This person should refer back to the instructions. If the monitors are not properly connected you can have this problem. Easily fixed once the cords are connected the right way. We have used our DVD players on 2 trips. One from NY to IN (14 hours each way) and also to NY to Washington DC (5 hours each way). It has kept my 3 children quite happy and the fighting down considerably especially since they could be watching 2 different movies at the same time! FABULOUS systemRead full review...

Excellent dual car DVD players

Dual DVD players that play same dvd's on both screens, or different DVD's, at the same time. Can use headphones as well for even better sound quality. My kids love them for the long, long trips. They have the largest screens for this class of system. Good enough picture quality. These were an exact replacement for my 6 year old system that gave into the Arizona heat. If you live here, bring them inside after use for greater longevity.Read full review...

Life Saver while driving grandchildren

I love the size of the screen. We looked at many dvd players and this one fit the bill. The car adapter came with it, so there was no extra purchase. We borrowed one from our son and I had to get one for myself. We were able to use one even on its own with a plug in that we had from another electronic device.
So far the only thing I dislike is that it did not have its own power cord.

Bad DVD Player

It did not work when it was send to me (DOA). The only signs of power was the light on indicator, the no display screen appears. Even though it has the 9" Display for view, the product basically made with poor electronics base. Do not buy this product used, because many warranty are basically bad. The life span for this product may range from 7 months or less. I rather spent a little more money on quality than buy a bad product that cannot be use.Read full review...

Great Great Great

Why you bought it ~ Christmas gift for my children
What you like most about it ~ Size of the screens, and configurations (Have one screen in each vehicle, have both in one vehicle, play two different DVD's, or play the same one)
What you dislike about it ~ that it doesn't come with a "normal" power cord to plug into a wall in the house.

wonderful

The dvd came in a timely manner. When I opened it I was very surprised. It was 100 times nicer than I thought it would be. It works wonderfully and the grandchildren love it.
