Great enjoyable game

Loved this game when we first got it years ago but lost our copy of the game. Evidently this game wasn't played widely in the US and although the graphics are "old school" it is great fun. It essentially combines town building with adventuring and extra little mini games mixed in. This game came out before the Pokemon craze so it has some similar elements with using monsters to fight but the monsters you get to use are based on the eggs you find in your adventure. The biggest challenge is starting the adventure from level 1 each time and building up to the higher levels before heading back to your house. Hours of interesting game play :-)Read full review...

Azure Dreams...Play it and Love it

Like many people, I find that I enjoy the early playstation games more than the PS2 games that are out now. There is just something about the simplistic animation that brings back your childhood and the many hours spent sitting in front of your playstation. Azure Dreams is one of the best games that I played and it was very addicting at the time and still is now. The game has a great storyline and the plot develops at the perfect speed. Its not too fast so the games over in a few hours and your questioning why you bought the game but it also doesnt take you way too long to find out everything you want to know. This is a great game and when you find yourself near the top of the tower after many hours of playing and asking yourself whether you should leave the tower with the treasure you have or should you chance it all with the risk of losing everything for the opportunity to go up another lever and...I guess you will have to play to find out.Read full review...

A rare, hard and very good game.

I bought this game out of nostalgic feeling, and also why I had never actually finished it, and was quite curious about it's ending. I never looked it up anywhere, and decided I would make it to the top myself. After about 10 years, I was finally able do play it again and make it to the top of the tower! Too bad I might have done so a bit soon, still lots of things to do in the game, and the tower simple doesn't seem attractive anymore. They should have put some new challenges there after you reach the top for the first time. The game is amazing nonetheless.Read full review...

Konami put together such a masterful game for a first gen system. So much adjustability, the story is simple and to the point. The characters are quite well animated for ps1 and theyre fun and quirky. Azure dreams is a somewhat challenging but very addicting game. Produced in 1998 by Konami, Azure dreams is a wealth of adventure, a drawn out storyline, and a very interesting plot development. When thinking back, being the expierenced gamer I am, recalling the playstation games made in the 90's, Azure dreams always sticks out. You will love this game if you give it a chance. Some play this game and complain that it starts out too slow...but when you're on the 18th level of the tower, 2 Minerva and one Wedog are chasing you and a picket just stole your windcrystal? A wonderful game that keeps you coming back for more. You will find yourself in the story line in no time with continuously rewarding challenges. Just when you think you can put it down, a new obstacle keeps you there for another hour.
