Tons of Graphics Power and Low Heat
I upgraded to this from an 8800 Ultra OC Edition. This card packs way more power than the 8800 ever did, and can do it at temperatures unheard of from the 8800. When 3D apps are not being used the 285 downclocks to conserve power and generate less heat. The 8800 could do 1280 x 1024 with the settings on medium and have the game be playable. This one doesnt break a sweat at 1680 x 1050 (max resolution of my monitor)with all settings maxed. My brother even goes out of his way to use my computer now when he games because it looks and feels so much better with this card. Totally worth the price! Would buy again!Read full review...
Great card for a good price
Great graphics card, I recently purchased this one to run a 3-way SLI computer. Super quick and ultra high graphics. Only downside it that is does not support triple monitors with a single card
VERY GOOD GRAPHICS CARD
I love the one card I have. Now here comes the second. Nvidia has it right on these cards. The gtx295 is just a little out of my league.
