Having assembled two different LBX kits at this point, I think I'm beginning to see a pattern of quality across this line of products. Assembly is made easier with components not needing clippers to be removed from the sprue, which is a nice break from switching from tool to tool during assembly. Having said that, I feel that this is, however, sort of a downfall with these kits, as the simplicity appears to rob a lot of potential detail from the finished products. Elaborate stickers help make up the difference, but ultimately fall short in comparison to having smaller, more detailed pieces. Despite all of that, I really enjoyed putting this model together over the course of roughly an hour and a half. My biggest complaint at the end of the day is that the model itself appears to be quite a bit more orange and yellow, rather than the red that I had expected from the box art.Read full review...
