BARBAROSA worth the price.

I bought the movie "Barbarosa" because of the fond memories I have the first time I watched it back in the 80's. Even though Willie Nelson won't win any best actor awards, I find him very refreshing and funny in this movie. And, young Gary Busey grows up right before your eyes. It's a movie about family traditions (good ones and bad ones) and what some people will do to keep them alive. I watch this movie over and over because it has some lines & scenes that stay with you for a long time. Although, it doesn't have a 'deep hidden meaning' and it isn't a movie for the kiddies - if you love westerns and pure entertainment I think you'll like "Barbarosa".Read full review...

Barbarosa

I came to E-Bay because I had tried to find and/or order this dvd from retailers ranging from Blockbuster to Wal Mart. No one had it; no one could get it.
I was surprised, seeing as how enjoyable this movie is, how entertaining a coboy story could be when done right. Willie Nelson plays the perfect rough old cowboy, and as he turns Gary Busse into one, the storyline behind the theme is both exciting and action-packed.
This is a wonderful movie, and should be in any movie collection.Read full review...

Middle western movie.

A good holesome western

I loved the blend of comedy and action.
The acting was surprising considering how young Gary Busey was, and the story kept me interested and entertained.
Years later, after seeing this movie, i had to see it enough to buy this DVD off Ebay.
