This is a great cookbook with simple recipes that are delicious!

I love to watch Barefoot Contessa on the Food Network. I think she has lots of style. I bought the cookbook because I was trying to finish the set of Barefoot Contessa Cookbooks that I have, the first one being given to me by my husband for my birthday a few years ago. It's a great book, and I got it at a great bargain. I have cooked several things out of it already. Perfect and easy to follow cookbook!

Beautiful cookbook. So pleasant to read. Ina Garten makes it pleasurable to cook. The pictures are great and the descriptions and instructions are easy to follow. In the back she has an index of resources to use to find the more obscure ingredients. For example, Trufffle Butter. Trying to cook

I like how it is written with Ina's personal accounts of each recipe. I initially read the cookbook like a short novel which was fun. I then tried my hands at some recipes, which were surprisingly easy to accomplish without having electric mixers and food processors (just good old fashion elbow grease.) I enjoy watching "Barefoot Contessa" on the foodnetwork and found that her cookbook was even better, because she write in some of her cheats in cooking!!!Read full review...
