Shayla says "I love Barney"

I was new to Barney when our Grandaughter came to live with us. She already had quite a collection of Barney videos and I would watch them with her. I was impressed with the lessons that were taught. When I learned that Barney had a movie I purchased it on video for her. She loved it! When we moved, it got lost and she was devistated. I recently bought it on DVD and she watches it every day. Shayla is five years old and has mild cerebral palsey, but has learned every song in the movie as well as the ones on the show. Yes, I sing along with her and enjoy it. I believe That Barney teaches moral values better than anything else we have seen. This movie is an extension and exciting addition to all Barney has done. The action and excitement is nonstop, yet there are tender times too. We can all take time to "Be a kid again". My hat is off to Barney. My kids (especially my youngest) loves Barney. As a parent, Barney dvds are the only ones you can truly call G rated. They are nice, wholesome, and teach important lessons.

I have never seen a full length barney movie. They love it. They are quiet the whole way through.

It is a good one.

Barney's Great Adventure - The Movie

OK, someone's gotta stand up for Barney. We had the VHS of Barney's Great Adventure, but it wore out. My now 8-year old watches this with his new 2-year old sister. They love this movie! Barney still teaches kids great values in a wonderful G-rated (don't have to worry about surprises in this movie!) format. Yes, I can sing every single annoying song, but it's good entertainment for the kids. KUDOS to Barney!Read full review...
