Good game great with fishing rod

Good fishing game. The rod makes it more lifelike with vibration feedback. Good for cabin fever and beats ice fishing.

The Strike, strikes out

The game lacks in realism and graphics. Under water camera angles are bad and lack the ability to move it around for a better view of the bait. Controls are extremely basic and could use some major improvement to make the game feel like your playing fish instead of a "reel", "stop reeling" fighting sequence. Each fish provides the same challenge just some take longer. The tournaments are a joke, and the developers really should look into refining the career mode to give you a feeling of trying to make the cut like the pros do. I don't have the fishing reel controller so that might add a little to the game, but I don't see how that would make the career mode any better. If you can find the game for cheap it is worth getting for a little fun, because lets be honest it's always fun to caught fish, but the realizm went out the window when my 4th fish caught was a 19.4 pound monster. It looked the same size as the rest of the fish in the water. I guess I will have to wait for another year or two till some one can get a fishing game right.
