Revisited childhood

My ex-wife threw out my old NES, Gameboy DMG (clear shell), N64 and games when I went off to basic training back in 2004. Last year I found my 1st original Gameboy in my mother's basement. The screen had gone out on it YEARS ago and I did the backlit screen upgrade, works great. I've slowly been acquiring all the games I use to have for it and this Batman game was one that has been eluding me! It was in great condition and turned right on. Batman - Platformer peril

First, I'd like to say that I am a fan of Batman. And I'd also like to say that I realize that platformers were the chosen format of classic video games. This gameboy Batman game is very fun and entertaining, with a great assortment of weapons and good cutscenes. However, the man jumps like a cricket. He jumps insanely high and far. So...unless you master this jump, and master how to land on a block that is the exact same size as you, you will not like this game. After all...how can a museum have so many pit traps in it?
However, if you can get past the platforming issues, the game provides hours of entertainment in pursuit/defeat of both Jack Napier, and then the Joker. ;)Read full review...
