Best DC Series Hands-Down

With a nod to the Golden Age without losing it's more 'modern' appeal, The Brave And The Bold is sometimes campy, sometimes pithy, but always fun and almost always tongue-in-cheek in these endlessly entertaining adventures. Characterizations are always great (BatB contains probably the best Aquaman iteration you'll ever see). Everyone has their moment in the spotlight, and likely a catchy musical number to boot. The humor is layered and surprisingly nuanced- you won't be bored watching this with your kids. Fans of older DC works will be pleased to catch references and homages, and fans of newer work will just straight-up enjoy the show. If you're looking for gritty and tortured, this is definitely not your show. But if you're looking for a bang-up adventure and fun, don't pass this up!Read full review...

Awesome Re-introduction To Old DC Characters

Batman: Brave and the Bold is a great show filled with heart and nostalgic goodness. It's the ultimate homage to the Silver Age of Detective Comics with it's own unique flair. What I love about the series is its use of lesser known heroes and villians. It's refreshing to see characters OTHER than The Joker, Superman, Lex Luthot, etc.
It's a cheesy show but for a reason- as I said above, the show is based off of DC's Silver Age and boy, those comics were beyond corny. But they're products of their time and this show is a re-awakening of the time period.
Batman himself is much, much more personable and FRIENDLY. He accepts help when it's needed. It's very sweet to watch him work with the array of different heroesn
