The Good, The Bad, & The Bat

The Bad-Any good Bat-story needs mystery. This one is way to easy. But Batz takes way too long to solve this one.

The Bat-Meets expectations of a Bat-imation. Characters true to character. Fights and running. Bat-history changed in details. Movie based off the comics, not tv series.

Better than most animated Batman dvd's

We rented this dvd and loved it! We actually bought this one because we loved it so much. This one brings to "life" the death of famed side-kick Robin! The Red Hood shows up and is neither good nor bad but a little of both. Extremely talanted but undefined.

The animation is great! The colors are both dark and vibrant at the same time.
The action and storyline are equal in quality. We just couldn't walk away- not even for a minute!

This is the type of Batman I've missed in the recent dvd interpretations.

Not suggested for kids or even teens under 16. There is a LOT of blood and (obviously) violence. This is NOT the animated TV version of Batman!

Batman: Under the Red Hood

Batman: Under the Red Hood is a riveting thrill ride. A dark violent tale from DC about batman's second robin. Jason Todd. Let me start out by saying this movie is NOT for children, which is a very good thing. The movie opens with a chilling scene where Joker is beating Jason Todd, AKA, robin with a crowbar. Broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and blood abound. Batman: Under the Red Hood revels is its dark gritty story of revenge and retribution. This has got to be the best Batman film to date. THe director nailed the characters and how I would invision them to be. The voice acting is excellent and the plot is very well done.
