Decent and fun 90s beat'em up!

I really enjoyed playing Battle toads and Double Dragon! The side scrolling, beat 'em up action is fun and engaging. The graphics aren't the best, but the game runs smoothly and everything looks nice. I have to admit that I like TMNT: The Hyperstone Heist way better, but Battle toads and Double Dragon is a decent brawler, too. It's harder than TMNT, but way more violent overall. There's no blood or guts, but you're punching foes out into space, grabbing their hair and pummeling them or stomping them through the floors! great classic game, but is a bit controversial.

i bought this game about a week ago. the last time i played it was about ten years ago, and it brought me back a bit. three animated, yet humanly tough toads team up with two other humans to take on a bunch of levels that end with bosses and th more you progess in the game, the tougher it gets, dont get me wrong it does challenge you. the game is quite violent. there's no blood at all but in certain levels, there are attacks you can use on females which consists of pulling their hair and kicking them in the face. overall, battletoads doubledragon is a tough, yet fun game, but i wouldnt recommend it to kids under the age of 10.Read full review...

BATTLE TOADS/DOUBLE DRAGON

I loved playing this game years ago when it first came out.When I saw it on ebay I just had to get it.Where else can you be a toad an kick butt.The grafics are pretty good for back in the day.My son likes playing it an some of my other old Sega games.I think some of the old games are more fun to play than these new games.Thier more simple an easier to play.Thier not as complecated as the new games.The grafics may not be as good,but I think it a pretty good game.The original Battletoads is apretty cool game to.Read full review...

Classic Games worth a second look.

Old game systems, are cheap these days. Many of the classic games that were fun when we we're kids, but mom wouldn't let you have so you had to sneek down to Matt's house ( insert name of you best Friend here) are bargain priced. Why not snag that old game you want, and play your kids!!! You'll have a better chance beating your kids at these old games, than the newest version of Halo #3. My 8 year old mops me up on halo 3, but with a classic game Like Battle toads, you can have a real father son moment whislt kicking the tar out of your son (in the game!)

So look around find a cheap old game system you loved and a few bargain games
and become the Ultimate Champion of your House!!!

What can i say, great game, great idea. This game will butt kick you in the FACE! This game was on all systems, SEGA, NES, AND SNES. Thats how good it was.
