Beads of Glass by Cindy Jenkins (2003)

This book is a must have to keep in your library! The photography is just spectacular! There are many great Lampwork Artist in this book along with some items that each artist have done. There are techniques and tools shown in the book.

There are wonderful illustrations on how to make round beads, tapered barrel beads, bat wing beads, melon beads, easy heart beads, precise dot placements, dot pattern variations, striped bead, triangle do bead, to frit by different lampwork artists and much more.

This was one of my first books I bought when I got into lampworking in 2004. This is a great book for beginners. User friendly.

Beads of Glass - Lampworking

This book was okay but not quite what I expected. The first half of the book is dedicated to lampworking artisans. They share their techniques in the second half. I love glass bead books!!!

This is an excellent reference for the glass beadmaker. The images are inspiring and provocative, and many of the glass artists explain their process in a step by step guide in the second half of the book.

After learning their processes for creating their art glass, I'm able to take their tips and use them to create my own unique pieces. A super book!
