Great value bread and butter synth!

Very good sounding synth. Tuning is stable and the sound quality is very clean. (Although drift parameters can emulate old-school VCA instability.) The reverbs and delays are really great sounding and the effect routing provides a lot of flexibility. The modulation matrix is well done. It would be nice if more effect parameters could be selected as a modulation destination.

The build quality is very nice and the sliders and knobs feel sufficiently sturdy. Output options are nice with din midi, USB, and WiFi connections. Input filtering is not available which is a shame because the filter and effects sound really great. The display is sufficient, even though a higher resolution would be welcome.

A very good "bread and butter" synth that's capable of making traditional analog synth sounds. This box doesn't move the synth world forward through any great innovation, but that doesn't seem to be the focus of this machine. You're not going to quickly or easily get bizarre exotic sounds out of this box, though I'm sure some out-there sounds possible.

I got this synth to sooth my regret over selling my Roland MKS-80 to pay the rent back in the 90s. Yes, I'd rather have my "Jupiter 8 in a box" back, but truthfully, the ease of editing, stability, reliability and sound quality make the Deepmind 12 a no-brainer. :-)

Fun and powerful synth

This is a very fun synth to play. I've barely gotten into the menus but it sounds great right out of the box.
