I had some doubts about this cable, but wanted to change up from my large gauge “zip cord”. So I wasn’t expecting much, but wow! I’m running a DECware SE84UFO into stacked larger Advents. No the speakers aren’t the last word, and I will be upgrading, but the difference is pretty amazing! Bass, tonal separation, PRAT, it’s all improved. These cables were a great match for my Graham LS5/9 and McIntosh integrated and the sound opened up compared to my Zu cables and Kimbers. I feel they are just right. Need bigger cables combined twisted pairs wonderful results.
I wanted to compare these with Kimber cables. Figured out the twist and created my own 4TC. With a litte math figured out total cable AWG required for speaker load and distance from source. DIY Nirvana. To avoid owner bias had my buds do a blind sound hearing. Results were mixed but expected but critical listeners noticed an improvment in sound stage and vocal clarity on operatic and smyphonic metal yes some seriuos variety.
