Great continuation of a much beloved true story.

Even though the mother was a closet feminist, this family showed the blessings of having a large family. Even the hardships don't outweigh the joys. It was great to see that the system their father set up carried them through the trials they went through after his death. Moreover, it was a treat to see these kids (to whom are endeared as you read the first book) grow into fine men and women with families of their own. The authors were witty and kept you wanting more. You get to cry and laugh out loud at the many antics of the kids. All and all, this was a great little book!! It was thoroughly enjoyable.Read full review...

Good book, but not as good as Cheaper By the Dozen!

This is the continuing story of the Gilbreth family after the father (Frank) dies of a heart attack. Interesting reading and fun to find out what happened to the children as they grew up. It seems that their father was the one who brought the fun to the family, though, as this book seemed drier and not as entertaining.Read full review...

good book

I've searched for this book for years having read it once or twice in my teens. It's the sequel to Cheaper By the Dozen and is just as entertaining.
