4K Projector with great image and audio quality
The image and audio (speaker) quality of this projector is amazing! It's very loud though, if that matters to you. We watch movies and shows on Netflix and Amazon using Amazon 4K stick on a 110 inch screen - very happy for our home theater.Read full review...

Awesome clear picture...intelligent projector, great for cinema
The Benq HT3550 is very advanced and a great upgrade from my earlier HT 1075 and HT205a. Although there is not a lot of 4K media available yet, it works for my experimenting in 4K but also is able, if your Roku is new or your Blue Ray DVD player upscales, to provide an exhilarating cinema experience. My wife and I feel like we are at the movies. Our room is small so our diagonal picture is about 8' but at about 8' away it feels like a movie theater experience. This very "short-throw" is challenging as the mounting of the projector and screen and has taken some time to eliminate almost all keystone effect. The projector is best mounted directly in the middle of the screen, either table top or ceiling. We've enjoyed revisiting some older movies and are seeing the movie the way the director intended. Awesome projector! Benq will honor the date of manufacture for the 3 year warranty so this is a plus as the projector was not in yet production 3 years ago. Beyond out of the box Cinema color accuracy, the Dynamic Iris at this price point is the game changer. It doesn't matter how bright a projector is, the overall picture quality, highlights and colors will be washed out if you don't tame the brightness with some kind of filtering mechanism.
