This spring bar tool works well. I don't have previous experience using a tool like this. Was able to change out four bands with a little practice. Did have a problem with one leather band. It is a very tight fit. So, I decided against changing that band. DIdn't want to damage the watch. I read that other brands can be fragile. This tool seems to be well made. Read full review...

Great tool makes a big difference
This tool is not cheap, but it works on my JLC better than the original mini sized JLC spring bar tool - which is not exactly cheap either.
I also used an Asian low cost tool with a bit better ergonomy for a couple of times. Then, I decided to give it a try and get the Bergeon.
What a difference this 6767 makes! I just realized life is way too short for cheap spring bar tools and scratched expensive watches. I sound like a salesman, no affiliations with Bergeon whatsoever! This is a great tool
After a half hour of frustrating myself trying to get the spring bars removed with other means, I bought this tool. It works like a charm, it's Swiss made so it's top quality, and the tips are replaceable so if you ever manage to bend or wear out the end, you can just replace it for about half the price rather than needing a whole new tool. I would not recommend cheap Chinese substitutes (or cheap anywhere substitutes, for that matter.) This may not be the cheapest tool, but it's sure worth it in the long run.Read full review...

I am an amateur watch enthusiast, not a professional watch maker so at first, I've cheaped out for a $1 generic small tool and regretted after the first use and decided to buy this item after all.
It's size ensures you have a great lever while working on spring bars which makes the job much easier.

Simply put... Should have bought one of these 10+ yrs back, as opposed to the 'cheapo' Asian/China manufactured ones.
It's 'true' Swiss Steel and manufacture... Need I say anything else???
If one wants to change out their watch bracelets or straps, or spring bars; This is the ONE tool, you need in your watch tool-kit.. DON'T waste your time and money, on the cheapo Chinese made ones; Spend abit more money and buy on of these.
