This cookbook was purchased for a granddaughter that is just getting interested in cooking, and will be a wonderful starting point for her!
The book gives all of the basics: how to measure properly, the difference between stir, fold and beat and recipes starting from the simplest (hot dogs) to a little more complex (biscuits). It is hard bound with category dividers held on ring binders so more recipes can be added. I would liked to have seen more recipes, but all in all this is a very good basic cookbook for a 10 to 13 year old!Read full review...

Wow it is perfect. The pictures in it are just like the book I had when I was a child. The recipes are simple and easy to understand. She will use this for along time to come and hopefully will get as much joy from cooking that I do 50 years later.Read full review...
