At the Earth's Core (Pellucidar Series Book 1)
Book one of the Pellucidar series
Written in 1914, this Burroughs classic tells the story of David, a mining heir who decides to finance the "iron mole," a vehicle designed to burrow into the earth to find riches. The inventor, Abner Perry and David take it for a test run only to discover that the craft can't be turned and it runs out of control for almost 500 miles into the heart of the earth. One there they discover a hollow shell that is inhabited.
This is another great classic by Edgar Rice Burroughs. it is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys a great story and wants to read from the masters of science fiction.Read full review...

Never received the product. Settled with dealer. The book is an excellent read and in my 'permanent' library I've read it at least twice. Every kid in America should read this just for the pleasure it brings. What an adventure!Read full review...
