Black Belt Patriotism by Chuck Norris
I bought this book because there is something not quite right about this nation & its people these days (to put it kindly), & I wanted to know Chuch Norris' thoughts on the matter. He gets right to the subject of why things are the way they are & then explores what can be done about it. His simple & direct wording delivers the material with the force of a round-house kick. Unlike most books on politics, which tend to have many words without much actual meaning, Mr. Norris' book actually has very few words but conveys a wealth of timely & valuable information which is greatly needed in our society today. Chuck Norris is a great patriot & obviously loves America enough to do something to make it better. This guy ought to be president! Black Belt Patriotism is a very good read for those who are willing to take off the blinders of political correctness & step up to the challenges facing our declining society.Read full review...
He can kick AND write!
Being philosophically conservative, I loved this book. Norris discusses many problems that America faces, and he has very common sense answers to many of them. This book, however, is not simplistic. His discourse on America's founding fathers is very insightful, and his comparisons absolutely have applications in today's world. This book is well organized, and you can almost hear Chuck speaking as you peruse the pages. It does not necessarily need to be read front to back;you can sample different chapters out of order and still walk away inspired. Black Belt Patriotism by Chuck Norris
I bought the book because I believe that America needs to get back to basics to become a prosperous country again. Chuck has a great outlook for America and has great ideas on how to get back to where we were headed before we got derailed. The chapters are easy to read and flow from one to another. I would like to see the book in the school systems so that young people can get a perspective that Socialism is not the direction this country started as and we can get back to our roots.Read full review...
