Excellent story line, couldn't put it down. Great gift idea!

This book is about how King Arthur aquired black horses for his knites and subsequent army. The setting is medival Europe during the Celtic period, and has all the flavors and ambience of this dark yet romantic time in history. I thought the book was well researched and felt transported while reading, hearing the pounding of hooves, lapping of waves at sea port, and general activity of the characters. An interesting facet of the story is the horses are aquired by a very young man who has an inciteful knowledge of the equine, and is intrusted with this important task. A memorable read.Read full review...
