Timeless adventure!
This was my favorite story when I was eight. Almost 30 years later, it is still my favorite. And I'm not the only one, considering "How To Train Your Dragon" movie was in large designed after "The Black Stallion ".
However, I will not purchase from this company again. Shipping and communication were pathetic.Read full review...

Product review
The book was in good shape, looked new. However, it wasn't the same book cover as pictured, so I was kind of surprised when I got it.
Still a great read for younger readers, starting around 8 or 9.
This I bought for my grand-daughter. I loved the book when I was her age (9) and thought I would see if she would enjoy it as well.
great
Love it. It was for a little girl that is autistic and realates best with horses. Her mother had never hear of this series and thought it would be wonderful for her daughter.
From my childhood

Good children's series
This was a book for my grand-daughters' reading curriculum. I bought it as a gift. She read it before I purchaced it, but she needed her own copy to mark up in class.
Tears and happiness
The book brought tears to my wife's eyes as she had one as a child. Her reaction was all I had hoped for and more.I'm very pleased with the book.
