Great phone for the money

This phone can be purchased for as little as $70 on e-bay. It is not a fancy android or I-phone, however, you can access the internet through Wi-Fi or a data plan. It can be used to access emails either through your work server or through a web based email like Gmail, yahoo, etc. by using Wi-Fi. The phone has many helpful features like a calenar and reminders, voice dial, media, etc. One can also download various apps, however, I am having some trouble doing this myself for some reason. The phone can also sync up with your desk top/lap top.

This is a somewhat no-frills phone. You won't be the envy of the techy world. But I am very pleased with it.

Good Product! Wish I could have kept it!

Product works well! If I did not have Verizon in the states I would use the phone all the time. However, I bought the phone for international travel.

For those interested in buying, be careful to check that your network allows Blackberry functions. Mine did not and I unfortunately had to return the phone (Orange Pre-paid SIM). Also, I found out that the wi-fi only works with a data plan, so if you do not have one, you will only be able to use the basic phone functions. Do not trust You-tube videos and forums that say you can hack it. You cannot.Read full review...

Love it!!

I love the Blackberry phone, this was my 1st Blackberry, but i dont like that all the apps you can have take up all the memory... It wont let me use my memory card for the apps either.
If there is no memory it just automatically deletes text messages sent and recieved and i didnt like that so i deleted the apps, i get on the internet i guess i really dont need them.

i wish there was more memory on the actual phone itself.

But i love the screen and the keyboard is much easier to use than other smartphones i have used!!

Great value for the money. Does what its supposed to do.

I sold mine and my wife's iPhone 4 because we were just tired of it and weren't using it enough to justify having such a phone. I still wanted a smartphone and new Blackberry's were good since I've owned one before. It is a great phone for the price and it gets the job done.

Blackberry's are known for the great keyboard and email handling abilities. If I was to be really picky I would say Blackberry OS could handle text messages a little bit different. But it isn't too bad. It just feels primitive. The real bad thing about this phone is battery life. If you don't use it, it lasts. However, even a handful of quick phone calls will drain the battery dramatically.

I think the Blackberry is a great alternative to iPhone and Android. For someone on a budget this is the right phone. However as stated before Blackberry needs a redesign on the text message area and improved battery life. I know the newer Blackberry's have a nice improved browser and it is very good but don't expect a smartphone web browsing experience.

Blackberry 8820

I love this phone, it's keyboard is nice and buttons make it easy to text and email. Call volume and quality is above reproach. Speakerphone works great, comes with wi-fi and loads web pages quickly. Great phone could be better if it had a camera but as usual RIM technology is above the rest~~~~Read full review...

My first smartphone and I love it!

I felt it was time to buy my first smartphone and i chose this blackberry. It is very impressive! I have not learned all the features but as far internet access and email it is just what I need. The battery last a long time in between charges. The only draw back is this phone does not have a camera but other than that I still like it and I would recommend it to others!Read full review...

will be able to get the job done, with a long battery life, wifi, and GPS

although this phone is getting old for a smartphone, it has definitely not lost its usefulness and features. the battery mashed out a massive 13 hour talk time, more than 2 times of other phones and some blackberries. wi-fi gives this phone portable browsing without using data. overall it is a great phone for a very low priceRead full review...

Excellent Seller, product is perfect, fast shipping.

I bought a new blackberry for AT&T a few weeks ago as a gift for my husband. It was absolutely perfect in new condition. It has all the features we were looking for in a new cell phone, especially with Wi-Fi capability. We needed something to help him stay organized and this was just what he needed. The phone also has excellent sound quality to listen to your favorite MP3s. It has been a great phone. Would recommend to others.Read full review...
