A GREAT SI FI CLASSIC

I miss the narations but it is still a great movie. Outstanding cast and effects. Who dosent love Sean Young?

Disappointing

This movie is supposed to be a never-aging classic, akin to the original Star Wars series, but I whole-heartedly disagree with that take on it. The movie truly does show its age. The plot, acting, and special effects are all sub-par. What is supposed to be dramatic tension often elicited laughter and action scenes, if they weren't equally funny, were generally boring. The sprinkling of film-noir isn't as artistic as it wants to be, it just makes stuff hard to see.

If you want to watch this movie, watch the fifth element instead. It's just better in every respect.Read full review...

Blade Runner - The Director's Cut

Sci-Fi movie set in the future when human replicants have been produced and are now banned on earth. A Blade Runner (Harrison Ford) is instructed to track down and kill four dangerous ones. Harrison Ford carries the movie which is rather slow and stretched out and can be a bit boring in some spots but still a good addition to any sci-fi collection.Read full review...

A sci-fi must have

Not many sci-fi movies hold up to the test of time, Blade Runner is one of the rare exceptions. In the dark run-down future, this well written and acted suspense action-filled movie will plant you firmly in 2019. The director's cut is much better than the original release and definitely worth having and holding onto. If you are a lover of Sci-Fi, then this movie is a must have. THIS FILM IS SINGULARLY ONE OF THE MOST VISIONARY FILMS OF ITS TIME.

One of the last analog sci-fi movies made. Well crafted and although there's violence and death it's worth watching even if only for the last scene!
