As streaming live music from home, an acoustic musician needs a usb mic that sounds better than his laptop or phone. Properly placed, the Yeti can pick up instrument and vocal and give a very true ,warm reproduction ofthe two sources.At around $100-$125, it is a good value with lots of useful features. Works but has functional issues
I am fine with the cosmetic condition but it was not mentioned that the audio jack on the microphone barely works. The sound is distorted. I can still us the microphone function just fine but have to plug my headphones directly into the computer.Read full review

Well constructed. Easy to use. One flaw is where the cord is placed. If you rotate the mic to lower the height when not in use but leave the plug in, you will likely bend the end of the metal end of the plug. The shape of the mic is classic but it is very large.Read full review

Over all it exeeded my expectations its a very nice piece of equipment. Not so light but the stand makes up for it. Sound quality very good. It has a mute button on it witch is good headphones jack with individual volume, mic volume control and my favorite 3 condenser capsule channels wich basically allows yo to record in any environment. You can switch from unidirectional to multidirectional, or front and back for duos or podcast. For the price I would say it is totally worth it.
