A QUALITY VEHICLE CAMCORDER

I have purchased 6 of this camcorder for motorcycles, cars, and a truck. They do show good quality pictures. However, the quality of the screen is great when no sun is shining on it. It is next to impossible to view the screen in any sunlight. Mainly because the print is in a gray type of color. With the viewing application that is available for download, viewing both the rear recording and front recording at the same time is a great feature on a computer. Each can be viewed separately also. The micro disc is somewhat difficult to insert and at times difficult to remove it you wish to view your recordings on a computer. The disc has to be pushed down into the slot made for it far enough for the contacts to connect. I have had to use tweezers at times to pull the small disc out of its position in the camcorder. The touch screen is a good feature making it easy to program the features you like. Be sure to shop around for a good price. It ranges in price from $99 to $199, depending where you choose to purchase it. Make sure the one you purchase comes with the GPS module for monitoring your speed.

Reliability is in question

Issues with the head unit, Works when it want to. Front camera worked when first installed but later failed to show image on display after first week. Switched cameras and no effect, switched cables and no effect. Now after less than a yr , riding season is only 4 months, head unit will not power up. My units is installed in my trunk where I have a factory mounted USB power source. I did have a nice image and a great concept but not reliable.Read full review...
