Loved the DVD and gave you good feedback but I asked you a question after I paid for the item. It was on the order of Your in Kentucky and I am in California. Why did I have to pay sales Tax? You did not answer back. Please answer. I ordered before from you awhile back and I was charged Tax but I just let it go. I most likely will not be buying from you again unless I know why. If you answer this question then I might buy again because you have very good prices. Please I would like an answer.

Newhart at his best, an excellent supporting cast, a great show!!!

As a longtime (emphasis on long) fan of Newhart's, I drew a complete blank on this series the first time that I saw it listed. How could I have forgotten about it?? Once I started watching the DVDs, some of the characters jogged some memory cells, but basically, this was a new series for me. As in other Newhart series, this show has an eccentric cast of characters, and who but Newhart would base a show on the writing of a comic book. Another wrinkle is that the final eight episodes were produced after an actual couple-of-year break and brought Betty White into the show when Bob was rehired to run the old greetings-card company that he left to write the comic book in the earlier episodes. Newhart is as funny as ever, the supporting cast is excellent, and the story's settings provide an excellent backdrop for a really funny show. I highly rate this series.
