I tried it out for the first time at a live performance great.

This unit is awesome. It was very easy to set up and use. There are a plethora of different settings. I have yet to use them all, much less program my own presets. But, that is coming.

Boss Does It Aagin

As far as effects it is un-limitless. I play a Taylor and a Yamaha Acoustic at church and now that I run it through the AD8 heads are turning.
A real great feature is the battery option 6-AA's and your are in business any where on the stage.
Also being able to change setting's when I change guitars once I honed in the sound is very nice.
Highly recommend this pedal Boss has been doing it a long time and they just get better.
