Nice light compact unit with the basics

It has some great effects sounds and a volume/wah expression pedal. It would be difficult to navigate by intuition alone without previous experience with boss pedal boards so look for a manual either with the unit or online to help unlock the steps to access all the functions. The manual is fairly short not a lot of pages. To me a big attraction was the size and weight: small and light enough to travel with easily. A pleasant little surprise and powerhouse unit. Easy to use, fun to play!

This little pedal is an amazing power house. I bought it to re-sale it. Once I tested it out, that was it, I'm not selling this pedal.
I'ts small, compact and easy to use. I use a Boss ME50 as my effects unit, hooked to another pedal, I use it for it's great chorus and delay. The ME20 is about 1/3 the size, has a very strong cast aluminium housing and has almost all of the same great effects of the ME50(of course the ME 50 is a more expensive pedal with great effects)If you have a smaller budget or just want an easy pedal to use this is it, you don't need anything else to have a great time, without all the hastle of hooking up everything you own.
It has fantastic compressed overdrive, with great sustain. For a small pedal it's a pleasant surprise. I love it! It also has an Ipod or line in which is not affected by the overdrive or distortion of the pedal, very easy to play along with your favorite song or recorded music.Read full review...

Compact and lightweight with basic effects including a tuner and you can fit it into a gig bag pocket or the back of a combo amp. All that makes it great for rehearsals and traveling.

Boss me 20 multi effects pedal

Everything works great though i havent used it with an adapter but only batteries. I have been using it a while before writing this review and it was well worth every penny.

Boss ME-20 is The Boss

Absolutely spectacular product. The multiple effects are well worth the cost of the ME-20. Also, Boss' website gives you a step-by-step instructional guide along with video and audio to coincide with the instructions. The Boss ME-20's retail price is far cheaper than those "Big" multi-effects pedals and is equivalent in comparison. The ME-20 can also be used in live (Gigs) situations with ease. Great Value

This unit has excellent guitar effects, which are infinitely variable. Most effects these days have fixed choices... take em or leave em. It also has thirty three presets which you can use as is, or you can overwrite those storage locations with your own combinations. Pretty cool... great value!Read full review...

Do not bother.

Distortion/OD effects are totally unusable, either in recording or professional live situation, both in terms of sound quality and ease of operation.
