Wonderful garme for young and old

This game was purchased for my 13 year old grandchild, at her request. The whole family has participated and as smart and quick as you think you are, you will be surprised at the outcome. She started off with an average age of 69!!! I think I was in the 80's, but time is improving our age!! This was a great buy, it's not just another video game to pass the time. It makes you think and encourages you to use your "gray matter". I highly recommend this game, for all age levels.Read full review...

Incredibly addictive,1 of the best DS games for any age

This "game" is not like anything else you have ever played before. First off, when playing Brain Age, you hold your Nintendo DS like a book and the slick design of the DS makes full use out of both screens! If you like Sudoku, there are countless puzzles on Brain Age to test your skills. I got stuck playing the Sudoku puzzles for days before I moved on to the other puzzles on this game. In fact, you will be prompted every day you load your personal data by an entertaining japanese guy, who will greet you and ask you some questions to get your brain going! After performing various tasks, you will see what parts of your brain have been working out, this is very cool!

If you have a DS, this game is only about $20 and you will definitely get every penny out of your purchase! In fact, beyond the speed-arithmetic and puzzles this game throws at you, you will feel yourself getting smarter everyday you play this. There is much more to be said about this game, but most of it is so off the wall that it just has to be seen to get the full grasp of how innovative and awesome this game truely is. This is a definite must have for anyone with a DS! In fact, this game was the whole reason I ended up buying a DS!

Educational, portable, fun, great value for large age range!

I enjoy Brainage games. I bought it for my son's DS. I do have to motivate him to spend time on it, by saying you can't play Pokemon until after you have done at least 15 minutes of Brainage, but it is enjoyable and educational. Sometimes as a parent you have to give extra motivation for the right things. Kids don't always want to do what is best for them. The price was great, it is definitely a good value, and is a great fit for a huge age range! I look for educational programs for computer, and personal game systems. Imo, there are fewer than there used to be, and need to be more!! Brainage is easy to do on trips, errands etc. educational, and it is fun!! Everything I most look for.Read full review...

Great for training your complex thoughts!

This will be a simple review, because the game is fantastic. You train your brain minutes a day with this game and research has said that it should improve your complex thinking throughout your daily routines.

Sometimes our brains need a little excercise, this is the perfect training game to get your concrete thoughts moving!

The tasks you're given are basic math and reading comprehension and memorization. You start off with small amount of problems, maybe problems of 20 to 100, then eventually they get larger where they measure how quickly you can read, memorize count, etc...

All in all, Brain Age is a unique brain teaser that is at a great budget price! Whether or not it's improving your mind fans of logic puzzles and other basic puzzle games should enjoy it!

Brain Age

I had played the Brain Age game previously on my son's Nintendo DS. There are a variety of games to play that stimulate your brain. It retails for around $20 at Best Buy and I was able to purchase a slightly used game on Ebay for quite a bit less. Plus, it was shipped directly to my home and I didn't have to navigate the excessive crowds at BB during the Christmas season. I would recommend this game to anyone above the age of 8. It's been fun competing with other family members.Read full review...

Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day (Nintendo

This game will make your head hurt if you just keep going Limit yourself on all games

I noticed that this game gives readings about the brain..."so I thought"
this game only rates you on how fast you do the work it does not rate you on anything-else but that

Do this test for yourself and you will see it does rate on speed and not the brain...but I guess it can help in some way

WARNING: THIS GAME MAY BE VERY FUN AND YOU WILL HAVE TO LIMIT YOURSELF PLAYING DO NOT STAY ON TO LONG

Really only you can rate this product it is different for everyone
not everyone will get the same point of view on this one

Brain Training keeps you sharp

Bought this for my wife and it quickly became a family favorite prompting the purchase of the second Brain Age also. Its a fun way for the family to have friendly competition and keep your mind sharp! Different excercises in math, reading, colors and other interesting memory type games which really keep you on your toes! Many hours of entertaining game play and an easy and relaxing way to clear the cobwebs out of your mind. I would highly recommend this game.Read full review...

Fun Game, Is Fun For About A Month

In my opinion this is a game like no other, except Big Brain Academy that is. It's breaks the tradition of the normal video game but in a good way. The puzzles it offers are a great time spender. It was made to be played every day but after the unlocking of all the different mini-games, it's hard to keep wanting to play it. One of my favorite features of the game is its Sodoku puzzles. It has over 100 puzzles with three different difficulties. I had never played Sodoku before but after brain training I was able to complete every last puzzle. This game offers at least a good month of fun and is definitely worth its pricetag.
Hope I Helped- And Don't Forget To Vote!!!

Clever and Interactive!

"Brain Age" is an interactive program that provides a variety of activities to train the prefrontal cortex of the brain and so improve cognitive functioning and perhaps intelligence. The down side is that some of these repetitive activities get old rather quickly, and aren't that pleasurable to begin with!--Want to answer 20 math fact problems?--Great, now how about 100!--Want to read classic literature out loud?--Who doesn't!--You get the idea...

The program is similar in some ways to "Flash Focus" for visual training, a program I find more enjoyable and one which has greater flexibility.

Great product- unlike any video game I've played!

It's a unique take on video games- it actually makes your brain better. It had different types of puzzles, games, and mental challenges. Also, your "guide", who is based on the scientists who researched these techniques, is quite funny. Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to anybody, whether you're an avid gamer, play them for fun, or don't play them at all. The only problem I have with it is that some of the things require you to speak out loud which you can't always do. Finally, I bought this game because I have memory problems and it has helped me with them.Read full review...
