Charming Canadian movie with universal appeal.

This movies was so good, I had to watch it twice back-to-back. The child actor was amazing, the supporting characters were great; but the focal point of this movie is watching the transformation of the lead character brought on by an 11-year-old boy. Whoever said "children change you" need look no further than this movie. It is a heartwarming story with universal appeal, almost a tear-jerker. The gay couple's relationship is simply treated like any other relationship in any movie. And for the homophobes out there who get all squeamish over gay PDA, rest assured that there is only a SINGLE same-sex kiss toward the end of the movie that you can see coming from a mile away, so you can avert your eyes. Almost as though the makers of this film thought that PDAs would be the deal-breaker with this movie reaching a broad audience. Such a timid director. Because in this one area, this couple is NOT like most other loving screen couples, but really rather sexless. Fortunately, the storyline and the acting of the supporting characters carries this charming movie over this one unfortunate gap.Read full review...

Great Movie and Fast Shipping

Great pricing. Love the movie as it opens up your mind to what is a family. Also, I love how the movie tackles homophobia within the gay community.
