The Breville Juice Fountain is a good machine for juicing. However, putting celery through twice gives more juice. First time through gives most, and then placing plup through a second time gives a greater amount for a cleanse. Nice machine, but a different filter basket.

The filter basket included in the box wasn't the original. when I turned it on, the bottom of the acrylic bowl lid got shredded by the filter basket.

Needed a replacement part

This is exactly what I needed. I didn't want to pay retail price for this item, so thanks very much for having this available! Item is in perfect condition. These are NEVER easy to clean, you really have to spray with lots of water and brush to get the little bits of fruit and veg out of the tiny holes. Had a old juicer and decided to upgrade. Faster, quieter and produces more juice than old juice tiger. Not sure I would call compact, but works great. Plenty of power. Took three carrots, one celery stalk and small apple and got pint of juice. Pulp is very dry. Can't see much use in higher end units unless juicing very large quantities. Made mine in seconds.
