The first is always the best

I have said this is past reviews, that an artists first work is often considered his best. Any fan of Jack could say that this CD is his best. His first major album right before his big break out album that was less mainstream and contains more of "Jack" in it.

I love every song and still listen to this album all the time. I would rate the CD a 9 out of 10.

Go buy it. Plus I love how his CD cases are like Pearl Jams. There usually always different, but they are the cardboard folding ones with the lyric booklet tucked in a sleeve. No cheap plastic jewel cd case, but an artistic holder that makes it worth buying the CD as opposed to buying the songs from iTunes.

Brushfire Fairytales a good buy!

I've always liked Jack Johnson's music. The first CD of his I ever bought was Brushfire Fairytales, and I fell in love with his musical style. But once upon a time I broke up with my boyfriend and he took my original CD and busted it because he thought it would make me mad. So here a year later, totally forgot about the CD, heard one of the songs off of Brushfire Fairytales on the radio or something and found it on eBay. The product I recieved was in great condition, the songs play just as well as I remembered. All Time FAV!!

I first heard Jack on a burned CD I got from a friend. It was not high quality but the chillax vibe that he sent was irresistible. From beginning to end, the CD puts me in the mood to slow down, and just enjoy living. As he proves in later CD's, the best part about Jack's tunes are the way they make you re-think life. Love Jack Johnson's style and songwriting skills. Reminds me in some ways of singer/songwriter Greg Brown.

Not better than in between dreams

Seller sold unit in 100% conditions. This album isn't that good. However I play it in the morning while getting ready for work and my coffee in brewing and stuff. But I cant play it anytime. no way.

Brushfire Fairytales

Jack Johnson is amazing. Love, love, love this CD. Someone had it at work and I loved it - went to get it but wasn't sure which CD it was. Ended up buying two CDs (which were great as well) before finding this one. Now my grown daughter is a big fan. Love it!

This is probably the 4th time I've bought this cd. It's been beaten up, stolen, lost. I love the cd because it's so mellow and calming. I love playing it in my car when it's raining.

I'm expecting our first child in April and wanted something calm and relaxing to play while he's still in the womb, I've heard that what they hear then will relax them when they are fussy. I can play this cd all the way through so I thought it was the best choice. :)Read full review...
