Cheap but good book and you can fix your own magnetos after a little work.

Interesting book for people working whith, and rebuilding old engines like, old outboards, marine engines, old tractors and motorcycles. It is always problems with weak magnetos and nowadays mostly all old magneto shops are gone and the possibility to remagnitise them. Here is the solution. With this book and a few basic tools you can build a good coil winder.

I needed a way of making good repeatable tuning coils for homebrew radios. I found this book to be simple yet down to earth, and with a little care and patience a good working coil winder can be made with just the most basic tools.
