Came early. Have had it for a few weeks and it turns on and off lights. I have it hooked to 100ft of LED rope lights on my screened in back porch. I didn't think it worked at first but for me I had to cycle through one night then it worked well. It says on the instructions to be sure the sensor is facing the light. Easy to use. This is analog, not digital. A simple On-Off switch or let the photo cell do the work for you, turning lights on a dusk and auto off in 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. I bought my first timer.
