Karaoke Revolution Country PS2

I have been a fan of all the Karaoke Revolutions and this one is no exception! They are fun games, especially for groups of two or more. There are thirty-five songs on this version as well as minigames and options such as duets and battles. You can also sing solo and there are non-scoring rounds to for practice and just for fun. I would recommend this to anyone and I am not a huge country music fan but there are good songs on here so I say give it a try and have some fun!!! Just so you're not disappointed, the songs are NOT done by the orignal artists, but the covers are not too bad. Have fun!!! : )Read full review...

If you love country music, then you'll love this game!

I got this game for my dad (58 yrs old). He bought a PS2 so he could play a little Madden during the football offseson. I got him this Country Revolution game for his birthday and he loves it - as soon he gets home from work, he'll put it on and sing for like 2-3 hours (much to the mild annoyance of others in the house, but we enjoy him having fun). He loves the scores it gives you at the end, and gets excited if he sang something well. As the game features a lot of classic and beloved country songs, he never gets tired of singing them. It makes a great gift for a country fan, and is a must have if you love to sing along.Read full review...

Karaoke Revolution Country Bundle (Playstation 2)

I love the songs on the game. This game is entertaining for the whole family! My 5 year old son will hardly let me put it away. The only thing I do not like about it, is that it needs to have more songs. I feel like it does not have enough songs for women to sing to. Mostly male sang songs. I feel that women should be the main target to sell singing games to. NO OFFENSE but I just feel more women buy this game over men.. I decided to buy this game because I am a stay at home mom with two children and one on the way and I thought it would give me something to do while my eleven month old is napping. And it has done that and more. I am very happy with the product!!!!!!!Read full review...

Karoke Gone Country

I was a fan of the original "Karaoke Revolution", and when this one came out I was super excited. The only system I had up until that point was a Gamecube, and they didn't make the country version for it. So, I went out and bought a Playstation 2 just for "CMT Presents: Karoke Revolution Country". You have to be a country music fan to enjoy this one, obviously.

Like the original, I like how the music dates from the '50s (or '40s) to present. The game is just as the title suggest 'karaoke'. If you don't like singing karaoke don't buy the game.

The only draw back is you can't add songs to the game, and I hope they eventually come up with a way to fix it. There is a total of 50 songs, which is not a lot of songs compared to all the music out there. Once you sing all the songs you wish for more songs. I'm sure they will come up with that capability.

"CMT Presents: Karaoke Revolution Country" is an excellent game. If you love country music and singing karaoke get it. I give it thumbs up.

excellent karaoke

this is great game. My kids love to sing and are having a great time with it. Be careful with younger players though, you can set it just on the Karaoke mode which I would recommend. My 5 yr old daughter loves to sing but can not read well enough for the scored version and was pretty heart broken when it said she was lousy. Since then we just set it to the karaoke version and not the game version and they have a great time. It is a fun family thing to do.Read full review...

Great game - it's a blast!

This was actually the 2nd Karaoke Revolution game I bought for my kids, but it's now probably their favorite (we ended up buying all 5 versions). No one in my family but me really listens to country music and my two older kids are only 5 and 8, but everyone loves this game. There's a great variety of country songs - from classic country of the 60's, 70's and 80's to more contemporary, crossover songs. I'm not the type that would ever do karaoke any other time, but even I will sing with this game! The people that make these games have really perfected this genre of games since Vol. 1 You can't go wrong with this one (or with any Karaoke Revolution game, for that matter). Great, great fun with family and friends! Highly recommended!Read full review...

CMT: Karaoke Revolution

I bought this game for my ten year old son as a Christmas present. He is a true country fan, who loves to sing. I thought this would be an awesome way for him to showcase his hidden talent and entertain the family. I love the fact that he can actually put his on face on the singers. I'm looking forward to many hours of entertainment with this game. My adult friends are begging me to let him open it early, so the fun can begin. However, I think they want to be a star too! Great entertainment for all age groups!Read full review...

Karaoke Revolution Country

I bought this game because I am a big fan of country music, and since the PS3 can play PS2 games. I have other Karaoke Revolution games and I have a blast playing them! I couldnt find this game at any store, so when I saw it online and saw how much it was worth, I thought it would probably be an awesome game if it was worth all that money!

The graphics on this game were blurry, words scrolled by on the screen pretty fast and the fact that its blurry make it hard to read. (it mightve been the fact that I have a PS3 and graphics are different, I dont know)
The judging part of it all is a complete joke. I could basically whistle through the whole song and get a perfect score.

All in all, it was fun game! But I personally didnt think it was worth all that money. Country Music Television stopped producing this game and I can see why.
