Classic 80's cartoon

It's predictable, corny, there's always a moral to the story, and it's quite a ways from being an excellent show. That being said, I love it! It's a wonderful 80's cartoon that exhibits all the qualities of that era of cartoons. Yes it's predictable, yes it's corny, yes there's the obvious moral to the story that the person learns in the 20 something minutes it takes to have an episode but it's all enjoyable. Just like GI Joe was back then, this is very similar in those regards(except GI Joe left the moral until the PSA's at the end). C.O.P.S G rated cartoon w/ a NC-17 twist. Not for kids

I watched this show when I was a little girl. I like the message and the characterization the creaters portrayed. I don't really like much of the new cartoons for children that are available and I wanted something I knew and was safe for my own. The show itself is great, but don't buy this DVD set. The pporducers at Shout! factory are horrible. There is nudity, sex, extreme violence and blood gushing scenes that were added to the preview credits on the first DVD. So if you like watching a smoking zombie slurp down a girls brain while blood gushes from the wound, watching the character murder police in extreme graphic detail, and watching run down a terrified screaming kid with his car and watch the body go flying, watching a head be blown to pieces by a shot gun and seeing the spillage plastered all over another actor, buy this DVD. cops - central organisation of police specialists

catchy theme song. and interesting and believable characters that you can relate to on some level. the cast chemistry between characters is amazingly fresh. the whole cartoon is about a classic fight between good versus evil set in the future. this show appeals to a broad range of people - because everyone understands what cops are about.
this is a show that everyone can watch from teen to adult over and over again.

Fun Cartoon from my Youth

This was a fun series that i use to watch when i was young. I am a DVD collector and love to watch the fun Cartoons from when i was young.

BUT i have a BIG problem with collection
there are about dozen episodes missing
some i really wanted to see again
and now i don't know if they will ever be seen

central organization of police specialists

As an eleven year old in 1988, I watched this cartoon religiously after school everyday. My friend would even quiz me on what the case number of the day was. This dvd brings back those memories and the cartoon is still enjoyable. The action figures that accompany the series; known as C.O.P.S. n' Crooks, were fun to collect and play with as well.
