Well worth double the price!
While not the lightest tire made, it is still very well made, and not terribly overweight.
The real highlight of the CST Roly Poly is the tread pattern, and the profile. This tire is made for the granite sand of the Mojave Desert! It simply outperforms any tire I have tried! Traction is superb, and cornering is smooth and confident. Rolling resistance is almost nonexistent! Seriously, even with low pressure, it rolls like a smaller tire with higher pressure!
On my very first outing with these tires, I was able to ride much further, and with much less energy expenditure. For less than the price of one Maxxis Minion, you can get a pair of these, and be able to use them in for a wider range of conditions! Read full review...

For the price I highly recommend this tire. Very quiet when rolling in a straight line. Feels efficient and low rolling resistance. When turning the side knobs grip hard in dirt. Great Roly Poly tires!
So i was looking for a cheap pair of tires to trash on the road & gravel to save wear & tear on my expensive knobbie tires.
They are not the lightest tire but for the price they are not bad at all. The 4.8" have a nice rounded profile mounted to my 100 rims. They are a stiffer rubber so these should wear nicely even on my intended road & gravel riding. They feel really good and fast. I have jumbo jims and they are supposed to be one of the best rolling. I would put these on par with them. I was very impressed. Not only that but they did remarkably well on the loose dirt sand & hardpack w roots & rocky sections strewn about. If you get the air pressure dialed they will take you wherever you want. They had predictable cornering while not being very aggressive on the side lugs they slid out and kept trying to grab without falling off & breaking loose altogether. I only have a few rides on them but overall these were an amazing purchase.
I also really like the look of the large white lettering on the sides. Very sharp! And the tread pattern has a neat wormlike shape.
Can't believe how cheap they were selling for.
