Hunters...not murderers.

The game has excellent graphics and multiple controls and things you can do. It takes you through a series of hunts on different continents. The only gripe I have so far is the way one hunt is set up. In Africa, there is a segment where the game calls for you to kill a Gazelle to use as Lion bait. Although, I understand the rationale, I was taught as a hunter that if you kill it, then you eat it unless you are defending yourself. My point is the message we are sending to young people playing the game may not be representative of our hunting culture. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009

This is not just a shoot-em up game. There is quite a bit of strategy involved. Currently the animals are winning the majority of the time but I am learning to use the controls and the different options a little better each time I play. In the career mode, it can be nerve-racking because you are both the hunted and the hunter. This is not a gory game and it does require some skill. It can be played with the classic controller, rifle, zapper, or the remote with nunchuck. I would recommend this game for teen or higher - the controls and the strategy would be too advanced for young children. dangerous hunts

I bought this as a Christmas present for m fiance. He was in a bad mood this past weekend so I decided to give it to him early. I can not get him to stop playing this game! He gets really into it and shh's me! The graphics are really good. He has this "gun" that holds the wii remote as well as the nunchuck. I'm pretty sure you can buy the accessories anywhere you can buy the wii. Very interesting game. The animals try to attack you if you miss them.Read full review...

I bought this Wii game as my first shooter game for my wii. It is very challenging and hopefully will be easier to play once I receive the Shotgun Controller that comes with the game if you buy it in a retail location. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2009 (Wii)

My wife bought this product and enjoys the hunt(s) very much. There are some challenges which require eye / hand coordination which improves one's skill level.

As with everything, there is always room for improvement. Over all, the game is enjoyable, challenging and I would recommend it for those who enjoy the hunt.Read full review...

cabela should stop making games

from a programming standpoint, this game is horrible. controls are not simple, camera viewpoints can get in really bad positions where you can't see anything; weapon fire is not accurately portrayed with respect to the damage on animals.

the only redeeming feature in comparison to the other cabela games is the 'melee' style fighting with the animals.Read full review...

My 9 year old LOVES this game, and it's fun to watch.

this game keeps you on your toes. If your not paying attention something might just jump out and attack you. You are given tasks like you have to find escaped tigers and tranquilize them. I find it to be entertaining to watch my kids play. great game.Read full review...
