Modern Warfare 2 is worth every penny!

Modern Warfare 2 for the PS3 is one of the best if not the BEST first person shooter games that I have played to this point. It has the balance that allows any person from the casual gamer to the seasoned pro to enjoy both an outstanding offline experience and an even more challenging online battle experience. The only warning I give is that parents beware when it comes to allowing their children online play since players on either the XBOX live or PSN network get really competitive and some not so tasteful words will usually come out of some of the players mouths. But to date using the mute function to block out unnecessary chatter works just great. But overall I would reccomend this title to anyone who enjoys this genre of game.Read full review...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Great single-player campaign that picks up right where the first one left off. However, if you are looking for a game that has an extremely long campaign, this is not the game for you.

Anybody who has ever played Call of Duty knows that they spend the time making multiplayer the main feature of the game. After all, once the campaign is beaten multiplayer is what keeps the person playing the game.

UNDECIDED? ARE YOU KIDDING?!

Well, this is for those of you who still deciding whether or not buying the game. Are you serious?!!!! this game is awesome, worth every penny. If you have the money in hand, just buy it! My first COD was World at War, not the greatest game, but pretty entertaining in multiplayer. And then, I decided to buy MW2, my first weekend I spent it playing it, day till night. Online multiplayer is so addicting, so much upgrades, weaponds, attachments, maps are really good, challenges, killstreaks, titles, you won't feel bored with all the stuff it has. I have not played the campaign, I know its good, but this game is all about online multiplayer. And there are various kind of games, from Ground War with 18 players shooting at each other, to search and destroy, where strategy comes in play. If you love FPS games, put this one on the top of your bucket list

I now know just why this was the best selling FPS game that has come out in years. The bar was first set with Half-Life, MW2 has now raised that bar. Fantastic game play, great story line and mind blowing graphics make for one of the best FPS games to come out in years.
My only complaint would be that I wish the game lasted longer, I finished the single player campain in just over 10 hours but does not stop me from enjoying playing it.Read full review...

Best first person shooter, ever

Modern Warfare 2 is not only a video game, it has become a cultural phenomenon because of its success. Rarely ever do you see a video game that is as addictive as this first person shooter combat game. From the music to the graphics, to the excellent frame rate, modern warfare 2 is second to none. The only thing that I can really complain about is the lack of servers for the game which sometimes leads to the game lagging and freezing up he current match. But, to be honest, the game is so engaging that even when a match lags out, you just eagerly await the next one. If shooting the bad guys, in different modes of play like capture the flag and deathmatch is what you like to do, then this game is a must buy. And, did I mention the solo campaign? Best first person shooter game series out there by far!

Fantastic game! Graphics are mind blowing and game details are as close as the real thing. By far the best first person shooting game, but they just keep coming out with better ones each year. Weapons are realistic and gameplay is awesome! Once you start playing online, its so tough I usually can't even go to sleep. I loved the way they integrate the reality. It's better than the last one cause it let you participate more freel Ok, MW2 got a + for Audio/visual when BFBC2 had so much better audio/visual and even had a separate project named Frostbite to develop it? + for Multiplayer, this is the epitomy of an oximoron. Better than COD4? All COD4 had wrong with it was juggernaut, martyrdom, last stand, and frag x3. AWESOME GAME DUDES AND LADY DUDES

MW2 is one of the best FPS games ever. Call of Duty does not dissapoint. As a rookie in the world of gaming i can never get enough of this game and any other FPS ( first person shooter) games. When i am home i am online. When i am at work i am on ebay looking for the next great deal or on youtube looking for the best new tricks and tips. I am also a fan of the single player campaign mode.This is how i got started. I heard so much about how great online play is and this game Modern Warfare 2 was my first online game experience. Never looked back again. Whoever owns a game console no matter what it is should have a copy of this game. Modern Warfare 2 - My favorite FPS for PS3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is my favorite first person shooter for PS3. Multiplayer is so addictive, so play at your own risk! I come from PC shooters and I can say that the controls for CDMW2 on PS3 are great. The single-player game is full of the most action-packed sequences I've ever come across on this system.
