Totally Worth it!

Love the camera. I have to say I read some of the reviews which confused me more and gave me doubts on wether to buy it or not with the accessories but I'm glad I follow my intuition and bought the whole bundle.

It is a great value for what they offer yes it is not the best tripod in the world or flash light but for a start it is a pretty awesome deal.

In another review I had read someone complaining about how cheap the flash was and that it didn't work!
Well… again for what they are offering it is a nice starter flash. Regarding to was not working… you have to make sure it is pair with the camera and that your camera settings are the right ones for the lighting need. I have to say that I couldn't make it work at the beginning but with a little bit of research online (youtube videos) you can figure out almost anything!

With time you can update to better gadgets! This ones are perfectly fine to start exploring and learn.

The 2 main lenses are in perfect conditions and so are the added filters and tele and macro lenses. Have under consideration that as well because they are new they might take you a little bit to get them in at 1st but they do fit you just need to twist them around a little bit.Read full review...

A great midline camera (not too much-not too little) w/useful features.

I purchased this camera to get back into photography.

So far I am exceptionally pleased with the 70D.

My first instinct was to go for the more expensive 5D Mark III or the 6D. But I chose the 70D for the value. It's a cheaper (cost) camera than the other two; but will still allow for great flexibility when getting started.

I personally love the touch screen that pulls out and swivels for front view. I also love that it is WiFi equipped making it easy to remote control with my smartphone and download pictures to my phone to share online or with friends quickly. That's less of a professional factor and more of a fun factor. However I look forward to using it to wirelessly control many other things.

Great camera, exellent picture quality

You will definitely have to spend time learning the intricacies of this camera if you are not an experienced canon shooter. If you've had canon cameras before, no big deal but if you are new to this level of equipment, practice shooting.
Picture quality is very good for stills and video.
As far as video is concerned, the follow focus feature is outstanding.
I adapted a couple of old manual lenses (Leica and Pentax) with adapters available on ebay and that works like a charm. If you get the ones with electronics attached, the camera will give you focus confirmation in the view finder using your old manual lens! Very cool!
The camera does get hot if you use it for video and run it to the 30 minute time limit and switch it on again and run it for another 30 minutes. At some point it just has to cool down.
It was getting hot even running it from an external battery!
Video shooters beware that there is no headphone out, so there is no way to monitor audio directly from the camera.
Naturally, just after I bought the 70D, the 7D mark II came out sporting a headphone out terminal, go figure.

Great camera for the money.

Buy the Canon 70D over the Canon 80D or 90D. Great value for the money. Sorry, it does not have 4K video. I like the stereo sound input, pull out viewfinder, SD Card slot, takes any EF Canon lenses, battery life is good.

Very capable, Canon 70D...Better thna expected!

Great cosmetic condition, as described! Everything seems to be working as it should as well.
I purchased this Canon 70D as a back-up to my Canon 1Ds Mk 2 primarily for birding to have something lighter and easier to shoot handheld...I am amazed at how well this camera works for the intended purpose. Obviously it is much newer technology and has many functions and attributes that my 1Ds doesn't...it may just be my new favorite. I had really considered a Canon 5D Mk 3/4 but decided to try the 70D and save some money. It does everything I need it to, and the video and Live-View are too cool and great tools to boot! I have tried it with lenses from 8mm fisheye up to my 150-600mm zoom with very good to excellent results throughout.
Overall, highly recommended.

Top of line for affordable money

This camera is tops in the field of DSLR. I have gone through various incarnations of Canon, fell in love at 40 and now that I have this model, I'm so very happy with it that I will most likely be keeping it for many years. The reason lies within the video production aspect. I would say it's second to none in this price group.
