You cannot order a printer with better quality. I am simply in love with this. I am 15 year paralegal and need a work horse printer to keep up with me. The Brother model all-in-one that I had for years could not compete with this product. Love...it....buy..it. You will NOT be disappointing. Medium weight and great features with some faults

The copier is a great use and has great quality printing. The printing is really good and does not smear. However, the printer is not good with photo papers, envelopes, and labels. Great Home Office business machine, not a photo layoout printer

I personally am a huge fan of Canon for the home office. This printer provides a quality print at a very affordable price. It has an easy to use interface, and several great features such as an Automatic Document Feeder, LCD Display, easy to use and install separate color ink toner cartridges, and average print speed (page per minute). It WILL NOT print on glossy photo paper, so if you are looking for a quality photo laser printer, this is not it. Excellent for the price I paid; functional, a tad bulky and not very quick.

It's a great value for the price I paid. It supports google cloud printing and airprint. Image quality is fine for office use. My major disappointment with this printer is that it doesn't scan straight to email addresses like my old printer. It's fairly large for what it does and it's no speed demon. Great office printer

I have a home business and this is a great printer for what I need. The print quality is great! It is easy to set up and use. The only down side is the paper tray. The tray holds about 100 sheets, so if you print a lot you might have to add paper frequently. The printer has copy, fax and scan features that are easy to use. This unit a present for daughter's family, so not using it myself. I set it up and tested it for them. Worked as expected. Not easy to set up on a Mac for wireless printing as Manual and display readout do not agree. Did not have time to try for newer drivers. Great Fax-Printer-Scanner-Copy Machine

It is great and time will tell how good it is and how long it lasts. I had a Panasonic Fax Copier before and I went through two of them as they would only last six months or a year and then would not feed the paper anymore. I wish this cannon had a Caller ID memory that you could print out but other than that it does everything, no phone but everything else. Works well with Mac and MS , good color and no more drying ink catriges.

After reading all the reviews it was a choice between this the brother and the Samsung. in the end the price and the fact that this received fewer negative reviews here and on Amazon made my choice.r>CONS - it is heavy , and the character menu system is a bit cumbersome. scan function is strange , as you have to initiate the scan from the printer then go to the computer. the drivers don't actually state they are for the 8530 cw but for the family MF8200

PROS - loading the drivers on the Mac and Windows desktops was easy. they even had the update driver for Yosemite on web site, once you figure out that they are generic by model family. The network connection had no problems. It will prints and scans from iMac IPhone and Windows 7 so far.
It is as fast as I need it , I don't print much, but as soon as its warmed up its fast. the color is great , the print is crisp.
AND most important , If I don't print for a week , it will not dry up and cost me more print cartridges like the inkjet it replaced.Read full review...

Overall a good printer

It did not come with software for Windows 10. The user manual (electronic) is not accurate. The Basic Operation Guide is not very well done and is hard to follow. The interface is clumsy and the settings display is difficult to navigate. I would buy it again but if this is for an office, multiple users, the user learning curve is long and be prepared for a lot of expressions of exasperation as people learn to navigate through all the options and set ups.Read full review...
