Awesome camera! Great value for the money!

I'm a 58-yr old female who takes a lot of photos (just ask my family!). I've owned Kodak cameras for years, but it seemed like the last couple were of somewhat lesser quality. Also given the fact that Kodak filed for bankruptcy, I decided it was time to try another brand. After hearing from others who highly recommended Canon, I bought this one and I'm very glad I did. It's extremely easy to use, has a lot of great features, takes great photos and it's a convenient size to take along on my camping/ATVing outings. Amazing little camera!! Basic functions and easy to use!

Any Canon you buy will give you amazing pictures, guaranteed! When it comes to cameras Canon should be first in mind. If you're trying to save money Kodaks have some of the best quality pictures for cheap cameras. And of course Nikons come close to Canons. This Canon has the minimum key features but you still get stuff like HD video and all your typical scene settings. Compared to the Canon ELPH, this one is not as solid built and is thicker but very lightweight. The plastic body can get scratched easily but this camera's so affordable--get a case for $2 online. This one's also very easy to use, you won't need to read the instructions--well, some of you will. Don't pay attention to Megapixels with other brands. For example, a 5MP Canon is equivalent to maybe a 10MP Olympus or Samsung. Trust me, if you've never owned a Canon make the switch today. Overall I would recommend anyone to buy this.

Got this camera for my friend but had to do some testing before i could give it to him, so I took a few shots and tested all the features in it. I liked the Macro feature in this camera- it was really cool that a camera with less complexity could do it. Had an ideal flash for night time pictures.I am satisfied with the pictures and the settings are fairly easy to set and understand for a none photographer. Great all-around camera, no reason for a new model to come out.

Takes great photos. Simple to use. Settings are easy to use and work well. Slips into a pocket easily. Works with an underwater bag well. I use it for typical portraits and nature shots, and it's great, also use it for close shots on electronics projects and it takes great detailed photos from a few inches away that always show what I need no matter the lighting conditions.Read full review...

The Canon A2200 is an amazing value it takes great macro images from an inch away. It was way ahead of its time a great value for beginner photography

Super Nice Camera for the Price

My wife absolutely LOVES her new Canon Powershot 14.1 Megapixel Camera. We just returned from a 14 day Alaska trip that she took over 500 pictures with her new camera.
