Yet another great compact from canon

Who needs 20 megapixels? My favotite film cameras are my Nicca, Leotax, and Fed 2 Leica copies. I'd have a Leica III series if I could afford it. I also like the Olympus stylus epic. Well here is is a modern digital camera to live up to that tradition. Recargeable battery with good capacity, the 5 megapixel sensor takes shots that look good on a 15" monitor, it has a substantial feel, nice to hold and fits in a pocket. The up-down, right-left control takes a little getting used to. I like the black color. Metal core and poycarbonate? Front and back panels. Compact flash memory, works well with 512 megabyte card.Read full review

Great product for the price.

Great product for the price. It was the top of the line when it originally came out. I loved that it could do video as well. Mine broke a few years ago and my daughter loved it so I was looking for a place to get mine repaired when I saw this ebay listing. Nice to carry around on the go

The dial doesn't go through all the modes that the camera is supposed to have, but other than that everything was as described. Nice little camera

An old functional S50, just like one I had before
