I am so excited about this lens! Not only can you capture the light of a firefly's eyes, but you can stand back and capture an image surrounded by a beautiful bokeh. This is a fun lens

I bought this to use mainly for macro photography. I have both a Canon 5D and a 50D. With the 50D (1.6x crop factor), the focal length is 160mm. I chose a 100mm so I could be far enough away from the subject, such as flowers, without casting a shadow. The results are spectacular.
