I bought two
Easy replacement for the old one, everything fit great. Amazingly it fired up and ran first pull (that never happened when it was new!) My problem was the first one leaked at the bottom of the bowl at the screw. Got the second one, worked great, but after running a few minutes it would start running like it was needing gas. Later I found out that if my gas tank got anything near low it would not flow into the carburetor fast enough (which was very strange).
I have it stored for now, no fuel in the carb and I crank and run it every 3 weeks just for routine that they need to have done!Read full review...

I bought two, both defective
The first one has a leak at the bottom of the bowl. I tightened the bowl, still leaked. I put a new gasket, still leaked. I put on a copper gasket, still leaked. I sent it back and while I was waiting for seller response (very slow) I ordered another one from a different seller.
The second one I installed and everything seemed fine, no leaks. I put the generator away, then I walked over a little later just to make sure and there was a leak. This time it was fuel overflow. No problem, I thought, something in the needle and seat. I serviced that and it still leaked. I disassembled the carburetor and found that the brass seat that is press fit into the aluminum body had a leak around it.Read full review...

Tecumseh Carb replacement
I haven't used them yet, but it's much cheaper than a rebuild kit. As soon as the weather warms a little so work in the garage will be comfortable I'll give them a try. cheap carb that probably works
In my case..the generator I have is made by three different companies..while I have a version of this carb..the throttle arm doesn't fit the holes on the carb..everything else fit amazing..when I tried to swap pieces it also did not fit due to different lengths.
